As part of its special district charter, the Cambria Community Services District operates a Parks and Recreation Department. The department’s main function is to manage all CCSD parks and recreation facilities and properties. This includes coordination of all issues relating to The Fiscalini Ranch Preserve Management Plan and development of a community park on The Fiscalini Ranch Preserve/East.

 The Parks and Recreation Department is also working on numerous trail projects in Cambria including the Santa Rosa Creek Trail and Streambank Restoration, and the Bluff Trail and Marine Terrace Trail on The Fiscalini Ranch Preserve/West.
