Chief Vincent joined Cambria Fire Department as the Fire Chief in 2022. He brings several years of chief officer experience to the position, having previously served as a Fire Chief in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as in Southern California. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice, a Masters Degree in Public Safety Leadership, and a Doctorate Degree in Public Administration. He also serves as a part-time adjunct faculty for Columbia Southern University, teaching online graduate degree courses in Fire Service Leadership and Emergency Management.

Chief Vincent holds California State Fire Marshal Certifications as an Executive Chief Fire Officer, Chief Fire Officer, Fire Officer, Prevention Officer, Fire Investigator, Public Education Officer, and Training Instructor. He prides himself on being a transformational leader and lives by the motto “always progressing.”
