Captain Johnathan Gibson began his tenure with the Cambria Fire Department in 2004 as a reserve firefighter and eventually worked his way up to the rank of captain in 2012. He graduated from Allan Hancock College’s Firefighter 1 Academy in 2001 and also graduated from the National College of Technical Instruction with his Paramedic License in 2011. Johnathan also holds California State certifications as a Fire Officer, Hazardous Materials Specialist, Fire Prevention Officer, Fire Instructor, as well as, many other Fire Service related certifications.
