12/7/2021 - Additional Water Main Installation Work
Between the hours of 8:30 am and 12:00 pm on December 7, 2021, the CCSD's contractor will be performing additional work on the new water main crossing the Santa Rosa Creek pedestrian bridge. Isolation of this new reach of main will be required, so customers may again experience decreased water pressure and silt. We apologize for any inconvience caused during this necessary activity.
Areas most likely to be impacted: Happy Hill, Pine Knolls
When service is restored, you may need to flush your water lines for a few minutes until water runs clear. You may also observe CCSD staff flushing system lines using fire hydrants. While it may appear to be wasteful, flushing is the most effective way to keep our drinking water safe and clean. Crews conducting the flushing keep careful records of the amount of water that is flushed through the lines. Therefore, this water isaccounted for and tracked along with other uses of water.
