The Cambria Veterans' Memorial Hall is located at 1000 Main Street and is owned and managed by the CCSD and available for community events and private events. For reservations, please visit the page below.
Before the Veterans' Memorial Hall was moved to Cambria, it was used as a movie theatre at Camp San Luis Obispo. Over the years, hundreds of events have been held at the facility, including art shows, exercise classes, health clinics and government meetings.
Handicap parking is available in the front of the hall and in the parking lot to the left of the hall. There are two special Veterans' parking spaces; one is located in the front of the Cambria Veterans' Memorial Hall, and the other is on the side of the American Legion 432 Club.
Currently, the Farmers Market is held in the Cambria Veterans' Memorial Hall parking lot every Friday afternoon. The hall and grounds are also used during the Lions Club Annual Pinedorado Days celebration and the Chamber of Commerce Chili Cook-Off and Car Show. The CCSD holds its Board meetings, Standing Committee meetings and PROS Commission meetings at the Cambria Veterans' Memorial Hall.
All events at the Cambria Veterans' Memorial Hall must follow the County of SLO Health Department Order Number 6 and require face coverings in all public indoor settings regardless of vaccination status. The CCSD has posted clearly visible and easy-to-read signage at all entry points to communicate the masking requirement to all patrons. Individuals are not required to wear face coverings in the following circumstances: 1) Persons actively eating and/or drinking; or, 2) Persons specifically exempted from wearing face masks pursuant to other CDPH guidance, which may include persons with medical or behavioral contraindications.
