2022 Election
UPDATE 12/8/2022 12:11 p.m.: The County of San Luis Obispo Clerk-Recorder posted the final official election results on their website (see results below) and the certification documents are ready for pick up in San Luis Obispo. CCSD has sent a member of staff to pick up the certification and Oath of Office documents for the December 8, 2022 board meeting.
The County of San Luis Obispo Clerk-Recorder posted the final official election results on their website, but the CCSD is still waiting for the certification that certifies the election results and Oath of Office forms. This certification is not ready as of December 8, 2022 at 10:10 a.m. and we need the certification to move forward with the swearing in new Directors.

The first step in any declaration of candidacy must begin with a telephone call (805-781-5228) to the County Clerk-Recorder to arrange an appointment for completing the Candidate Information Form. Prospective candidates must file California Form 501 (Candidate Intention Statement), Form 700 (Statement of Economic Interests, and either form 410 (Statement of Organization) or Form 470 (Officeholder and Candidate Statement Short Form) with the County Clerk-Recorder.
Updated 7/15/2022: On July 14, 2022, the Board of Directors adopted Resolution 46-2022 calling for a General District Election within the CCSD on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 and requesting that the CCSD Election be consolidated with the November 8, 2022 Consolidated General Election for San Luis Obispo County.
