Tentatively, the week of Monday, March 11, 2024, a CAL FIRE pile burning will take place near Burton Drive and Highway 1 in Cambria. Firefighters from CAL FIRE will conduct the burning of 50 piles of French broom brush. Burning is expected to begin at 9:30 a.m. and conclude at 4:00 p.m. To monitor air quality on the day of the prescribed burn, please visit SLOCleanAir.org.
