4/28/2023 Letter from the General Manager

Dear Cambria,

I hope this newsletter finds you well. I wanted to take some time to reflect on our district's achievements over the past few weeks and share some updates. Firstly, I want to thank our staff for their hard work and dedication. I have been impressed by their professionalism and commitment during my transition into the General Managers role, which can create anxiety for both the staff and the community. During my first week as General Manager, I had the opportunity to meet with many of you, our Cambria community members, and learn about your concerns, ideas, and personal challenges as it applies to our beautiful town. I must be candid; I wasn’t expecting our community's overwhelming support and well wishes in my new role; it is not lost on me. I look forward to continuing to build relationships with each of you. As such, I will re-open the district office to the public as we return to pre-pandemic operations. We will post days and hours of operation on our website; stay tuned!

While I do not have a robust newsletter (I am on day 5), I want to acknowledge the hard work of our wastewater department, water department, facilities and resources, fire department, and, lastly, our administrative office. While the sun may be shining, our staff are still reeling from the damage from the recent storms. They have been incredibly busy working on returning to our everyday operations. Lastly, I'm excited to work with our talented staff and see their impact on our community

On Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., I will be working out of the Cambria Veterans' Memorial Hall and would love to meet you and hear your thoughts on everything Cambria.

As always, I welcome your feedback and ideas. If you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me or any of our management team.

Thank you again for your support, and I look forward to serving you.
