Dear Cambrians,

We’d like to take a moment to clarify how the Cambria Community Services District (CCSD) manages the Cambria Veterans’ Memorial Hall, which hosts a wide range of events and gatherings throughout the year.

Among its many uses, the hall is available to rent for private events. As part of each rental, the parking lot and restrooms are reserved exclusively for the renters and their guests for the duration of their event.

We’ve recently received feedback from renters about challenges caused by individuals using the Veterans’ Memorial Hall parking lot and restrooms during private events they were not attending. In some cases, this has made it difficult for renters and their guests to unload supplies or find available parking—spaces they reserved and paid for as part of their rental agreement.

We kindly remind the community that when the entire hall is rented, the parking lot and restrooms are reserved exclusively for event attendees. These facilities are not available for general public use during unrelated activities in the surrounding area. Respecting this policy helps ensure that renters can fully enjoy their events without unnecessary disruptions.

We understand that there may be times when additional parking or restroom access is needed. If you have a specific request or idea for coordination, please reach out to CCSD staff through the CCSD website. We’ll do our best to accommodate you whenever possible. However, please be aware that we do not have the resources to staff, maintain, or keep these restrooms open for general public use.

Out of respect for Veterans Hall and its renters, we kindly ask that anyone not attending a scheduled event please use alternative parking and public restrooms. Nearby parking is available in the West Village and along adjacent streets. Public restrooms are open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the following convenient locations:

• Downtown West Village: 820 Sheffield
• Downtown East Village: 4001 Center Street
• East Ranch (Cambria Dog Park): 2021 Rodeo Grounds Road
