Anticipated Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) to Affect the Cambria Area
PG&E is planning a widespread statewide Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) from 10/11/21 at 5:30 a.m. and end on 10/12/21 at 10:00 p.m. This event is being triggered by elevated fire conditions throughout the state. SLO County will have only 223 customers impacted. The PSPS will be spread throughout the county with the main impact to the Cambria area. This PSPS could be expanded or have a trickle-down effects to other areas surrounding the planned outage circuits and could impact cell and radio towers.
