The Cambria Community Services District is proud to announce that Cambria has been officially recognized as a Firewise USA Community. This national designation, administered by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), acknowledges communities that take proactive steps to reduce wildfire risk and improve community resilience.

Achieving Firewise certification demonstrates Cambria’s strong commitment to wildfire preparedness, defensible space, community education, and collaborative risk reduction. As a Firewise USA® Community, Cambria will continue to:

  • Promote fire-safe landscaping and defensible space practices
  • Educate residents on wildfire prevention and preparedness
  • Support fuel reduction and hazard mitigation activities
  • Strengthen collaboration between residents and local agencies

We extend our appreciation to the Cambria Fire Safe Council for its contribution to this achievement.
