The Cambria Fire Protection District, originally formed as the Hope Volunteer Fire in 1877, changed to Cambria Fire in 1933. The Cambria Fire Department is located at 2850 Burton Drive and provides 24/7 fire protection, prevention, rescue and emergency medical services to the community of Cambria. It also provides training and public education programs, building safety inspections and a fire hazard fuel reduction program.
