Engineer Ryan Maloney started with the CCSD as a Reserve Firefighter in 1999 and was promoted to full-time Fire Engineer in January 2005. From 1997-2006, Ryan was with the Arroyo Grande Fire Department as Engineer II and OIC. He holds numerous certifications for firefighting and engineering and has his state captain certifications. He is also a coordinator for North Coast Ocean Rescue (NCOR). Ryan lives in Arroyo Grande with his wife and wonderful daughter. Ryan Maloney was promoted to Interim Fire Captain EMT in October 2021 and the term ended in October 2022.
