After the last major weather event in January, the Cambria CSD Fire Department identified some critical equipment and PPE needs to safely mitigate future storm related emergencies. Fire Engineer Kayla Graves gave an impassioned speech at the Board of Directors meeting about her issued hand-me-down rain gear, which was three sizes too large and had holes in it.
The Board members were extremely supportive and voted to fund the immediate purchase of the needed PPE and equipment for the Fire Department. We are happy to share that the PPE and equipment has arrived, just in time for this next major weather event. Because of the investment by the CCSD Board, your Cambria CSD Fire Department is equipped and ready to take on the challenges that this storm will present! Thank You CCSD Board Members.
