Dear Community Liaison,

Thank you for attending the recent meeting and for sharing your insight, questions, and neighborhood-specific concerns. Your participation supports ongoing efforts to improve community preparedness and coordination.

As discussed, the following materials are attached for your reference and use:

Suggested minimum contents:

  •  Bottled water, hydration pack, and water filter
  • Comfortable walking shoes, spare socks, and undergarments
  • Warm clothes, lightweight blanket, rain gear, poncho, and sewing kit
  • Sun hat, beanie, sunglasses, cloth bandana or shemagh, and gloves
  • Can opener, multi-tool, pocket or fixed blade knife, lumber crayon, and folding tree saw
  • Work gloves, safety glasses, N99/N95 disposable mask, whistle, signal mirror, zip ties, and earplugs
  • Matches/lighter (lifeboat or stormproof type), fire starter, and parachute cord (550 or higher)
  • Food, energy bars, light snacks (shelf stable), and backpack food
  • Spare batteries, flashlight & headlamp, cell phone charging cord, and duct tape
  • Thick plastic trash bags, toilet paper, zip lock bags, and wet wipes
  • First aid supplies/kit: emergency blanket, pack towel, hand sanitizer, and bar/liquid soap
  • Bug spray/sun protection, over-the-counter meds & prescription meds, and feminine supplies
  • Pencil & paper (waterproof), paper maps, compass, spare glasses, and small binoculars
  • Money, other important items, important pictures, super glue, and playing cards 
  • Important personal documents (copy of prescriptions, insurance docs/property deeds/tax info/list or pictures of contents of your home or business/birth certificate/ID/Passport/etc. Copy on USB Flash drive[s])
