Dear Cambrians,

Today, we reflect on and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001. This day remains one of the most solemn in our nation’s history, when nearly 3,000 people were taken from us in the attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and aboard Flight 93. We also honor the extraordinary courage and sacrifice of the first responders—firefighters, law enforcement officers, emergency personnel, and ordinary citizens—who selflessly risked, and in many cases gave, their lives to save others.

Here in our community, we also extend gratitude to our own first responders, who continue to serve with dedication and stand ready each day to protect the people of Cambria.
