Notice to Employees: SB 294 – Workplace Know Your Rights Act

California’s SB 294, also known as the Workplace Know Your Rights Act, requires employers to provide a written notice to all employees regarding certain workplace rights.

Key requirements include:

  • Employers must provide the written notice to each employee by February 1, 2026, and annually thereafter.
  • The notice must also be provided to each new employee upon hire.
  • Employers must provide the notice annually to any authorized employee representative, if applicable.
