Upcoming Juneteenth Holiday

For many of you, the upcoming Juneteenth (6/19/2026) Holiday will coincide with your SDO Friday off. 

You are required to move the holiday per the MOU. If a holiday falls on an SDO (Standard Day Off), you are to take the holiday off either immediately preceding or following your SDO.

Please fill out a LOA, requesting Thursday, June 18, 2026 or Monday, June 22, 2026, as your alternate day off.

List 8 hours standard holiday pay and 1 hour paid leave. You will need to offset that 1 hour with another paid leave. (i.e., Comp Time, Vacation, Admin Leave, Float Holiday). Please return the LOA to your supervisor for approval and processing.

Vacation taken prior to completion of an employee's probation period can only be scheduled with approval from the General Manager. Please work these details out with your supervisor.

Because of the shortened work week that week, time sheets are asked to be submitted to payroll by Friday, June 12, 2026, by 3PM.
