Apparatus

The Cambria Fire Department is an all hazard Fire Department. They use various engines, vehicles and equipment to mitigate all emergencies and they maintain the following apparatus:

2017 Pierce Type 1 Fire Engine

May contain: vehicle, truck, transportation, and fire truck

The Pierce Type 1 Fire Engine has a 470 HP engine, carries approximately 500 gallons of water and pumps 1500 gallons of water per minute. It is designed for structural firefighting and carries ladders, rescue equipment, medical equipment and vehicle extrication tools.

2007 Pierce Type 1 Fire Engine

May contain: vehicle, transportation, truck, and fire truck

The Pierce Type 1 Fire Engine carries approximately 500 gallons of water, 20 gallons of foam and pumps 1500 gallons of water per minute. It is designed for structural firefighting and carries ladders, rescue equipment, medical equipment and vehicle extrication tools.

2003 Ford F-350 Utility Truck

The Ford F-350 vehicle is used for ropes, ocean, and auto extrication equipment.

2002 Pierce Water Tender

The Water Tender carries approximately 1850 gallons of water, 40 gallons of foam, and is equipped with a Compressed Air Foam System (CAFS). It also has a collapsible 2500 gallon tank and with portable pump, that can be deployed for water delivery while the tender is used to shuttle additional water as necessary. It is designed for rural vegetation and structure fires that occur in an environment with limited water supply.

Rescue Boats

The Fire Department has boats for ocean rescue emergencies.
