Purpose & Responsibilities

1. Provide review for transparent budget processes and financial management that promote fiscal stability and instill public trust.
2. Support and work directly with the CCSD General Manager and Administrative Department Manager/Finance Manager in enhancing financial integrity and monetary discipline.
3. Discuss and receive public input during committee meetings and advise the Board of Directors on financial matters.
4. Provide financial review, assessment, and recommendation to the CCSD Board of Directors regarding potential funding sources available to the District from private, public, County, State, or federal entities.
5. Support other standing committees’ fiscal review needs.
