While this storm is expected to bring less rainfall than we experienced this week (1-2 inches possible), current ground saturation and storm damage leaves Cambria extremely vulnerable.

Rogue Wave vs. ResidenceAt around 10:00 am this morning, an extremely large rogue wave struck a residence along Sherwood Drive, causing damage to the property and minor injuries to the occupant of the room. The homes waterfront windows were shattered and the resident was knocked over by the powerful wave. The water damage extended throughout the home.

1/3/2023 Traffic Accident - Moonstone BeachAt at 2:15 pm, the Cambria CSD Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a vehicle accident near 6530 Moonstone Beach Drive. Cambria CSD Fire Department Medic Engine 5792 and Chief 5700 responded with Cal Fire also responding mutual aid to assist.
